Ivey IT offers a service for Boot Camp or Parallels installations on your Macbook so that you can run Windows 10 on your Mac OSx.
If your Mac has an Intel chip, you can use the free built-in Boot Camp assistant.
If it has an Apple M1 chip, Parallels will need to be purchased since Boot Camp is not supported with it.
There is a discounted education version of Parallels available to students for $51.99 a Year at this link: https://www.parallels.com/ca/landingpage/pd/education/
You will need to verify that you are a student. Make sure you choose ‘Western University (Ontario)’ as your school and use your Western email address. You may also be required to upload documentation to verify your enrollment (transcript or school issued document).
In the HBA1 Community in Learn, you can sign up for one of the 2 hour appointment windows to have the installation performed on your Mac.
