With Microsoft Teams, you can create meetings with your contacts to communicate over voice and video in real time. You can schedule meetings with contacts that will be synced with your Outlook calendar.
How to make a scheduled meeting
To make a scheduled meeting;
- On the left side of the screen, click "Calendar".
Sometimes "Calendar" may be hidden and to view it, click on the three dots
and select "Calendar" from the pop-out menu.
- On the right hand side, click the arrow next to "New Meeting". Click "Schedule Meeting
From here, you can now fill in the details as if you were scheduling a meeting with others over Outlook.
Once you're done, you can click "Save" in the top right hand corner of the screen and it will then save the meeting in your calendar as well as send an email to you and your recipients with a link to join the meeting.
How to join a scheduled meeting in Teams
To join a meeting that is scheduled or in progress;
- Click "Calendar" on the left hand side.
- Find your meeting and click "Join"
