The Multipurpose room is located in the basement of the main Ivey building. It is a flat configurable space. It has been recently renovated and now is named Multipurpose Room A and B.
The room can be configured for North Facing, East facing (with open wall) or East facing (with wall closed).
In the North configuration, there is a projector, two hand held microphones and 1 lapel microphones, and ceiling speakers for sound. On the North wall there is a wall plate for VGA+audio and HDMI inputs. In addition there is an Air Media device. On the wall is a small control panel that allows you to select an input (VGA, HDMI, or Air Media), and adjust the volume level. The room is typically booked for Career Management events and an hold 200+ students in various configurations.
In the East configuration, there is a projector and projection screen. They are controlled by the two wall panels on either sides of the screen. You can select which input to use (HDMI or VGA) via a wall plate on the East wall, or Air Media (wireless). You can also adjust volume levels.
If you require assistance in setting up your event please do not hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org or drop by our office in room 0120 - just outside the Multipurpose room.
We have recently added additional microphone volume control. Each of the 6 microphones can be individually controlled via the wall panels on the south wall. Also we have a new Document camera that is capable of full 1080P resolution and can be used in either Room A or B. It is on a free-standing cart.
