All incoming MBA students are required to have a laptop computer. Below you will find key information on wireless internet, printing, Apple computers and more. The MBA Program Office will be sending your personal Ivey username and password prior to your arrival.
A new laptop is recommended but most laptops purchased after 2014 will be sufficient. Both Apple and Windows computers are supported, however it is recommended you have an English version of your Operating System installed.
There are applications used during the MBA Program that only run on Windows. Ivey provides a free version of Windows 10 through the Microsoft Imagine Program and Oracle VirtualBox software for students to run Windows virtually on your Apple computer. Please visit us to have virtual Windows installed on your Mac.
Please note: There are Microsoft Office add-ins used in the MBA Program that only provide full functionality on the Windows version of Office. Although there may be Office add-ins available for Mac Office 2011 and Mac Office 2016, their functionality may be limited.
